MOLLY ZHOU
Molly (Yingchen) Zhou was born and raised in Yangzhong City, Zhenjiang, China. In 2016, she received undergraduate education in visual communication design from Wuhan Donghu University. In her fourth year, she transferred to Southern New Hampshire University to continue her studies as an exchange student. In 2020, she received her BA in Art from China and the same BA in the United States. During her four years of undergraduate studies, she found graphic design to be more engaging and interesting than other subjects. Then she began studying graphic design in depth at Boston University, starting with a certificate program. She is currently in her second year of a master's program in graphic design and is looking to enter professional designer’s life. Being able to quickly identify and fill any knowledge gaps makes her a true graphic designer with the ability to create wonderful and impressive projects. In graphic design, creating a book or brochure is a most struggling but fun part, just like watching a movie. They share the same story-telling way and audience communication way. How to make books professional and interesting is an essential topic discussed and studied in master's courses. While reading books and watching movies is fun, for her in her daily life, learning how to make delicious meals is as much a process of discovery and joy as creating graphic design books.
